ERITREA : ICG’s report besieged with bias and distortions

Sophia Tesfamariam, Sep 22, 2010

On 21 September 2010, the International Crisis Group (ICG) released a report on Eritrea . Even though the report¡¦s authors were not named, the title chosen for the report, and the all too familiar buzz words used throughout the over 30 page long report, the timing of the report, and the references provided are telling enough of who its sources are, and the real motives behind the shameful distorted report.

Report of ICG

Lately the International Crises Group (ICG) gave out a bias report under the heading “Eritrea siege state”. In my opinion, that is a totally misleading report. The ICG used some facts and some distorted images and came out with completely wrong conclusion. What I find ironic is, not the ICG wrote such a misleading report, but how come this internationally know Group could write an idiotic report which have nothing to do with the reality of Eritrea what so ever, even the Ethiopian regime who under the umbrella the USA trying to destabilize Eritrea wouldn’t dare to dream of such conclusions.

Open letter to US President H.E. Barak Obama

Call for Justice!
Open letter to US President H.E. Barak Obama
Dear Mr. President,
I start my letter by wishing you and your family a joyful Christmas and a happy new year!
Mr. President, just the day before Christmas Eve the United Nations Security Council imposed sanctions on Eritrea based on fallacious accusations. My letter is thus, concerning the recent UN action against the Eritrean people. Just to reflect to some history; after the Second World War, an unjust policy was taken against the Eritrean people.
